Beech trees on ERYC land behind Ferryman Park- 2 residents informed councillors of their concerns re the beech trees overhanging their property. They felt that there had been no dialogue with ERYC when they previously complained to Paull Parish Council, Clerk informed that they had been copied into any correspondence we had received, however the trees are on ERYC land and therefore we have no control. Cllrs stated that the trees had been there when the house was moved into in 2020, it was the case of many properties around the village that they were shaded by very old, established trees. The residents explained that ERYC had pruned some lower branches (which they had not wanted, it was the higher canopy that they wanted cutting back to give more light, enable a signal on satellite tv, stop any branches falling off) and if cost was an issue, they would look at funding it themselves. A warning was given not to do anything to the trees without ERYC consent, or it could be a court matter. Ward Cllr Steel agreed to liaise with the residents and ERYC
