| Matters Arising: Post box collection times—local postie collects everyday when he comes to the village, he has reported that the clip is broken and is unable to put the times on at present | ||
| 4. Continuing Matters: Land near the post box, update from the solicitor 6/2/2026 – paperwork is on its way for signing by Cllrs Shaw and Lowde Playground inspection paperwork -Cllr Shaw -ongoing Skelpings- 20mm granite advised, would be costly? Thanks to Cllr Annison for contacting the roadworks in Hull, the skelpings were too expensive (£15 per tonne) Cllr Annison will speak with MC about costings for scraping the surface Lighthouses-clerk contacted ERYC Conservation Officer in January—who was hoping to do a site visit, clerk has emailed for update 6/2/2026 Self-closing gates playpark- Cllr Annison provided costings from Tony Cook Ltd, supply and erect TC 26041 -one 14’ farm gate complete with steel posts concreted in, all ironmongery, removal and disposal of existing gate, and the relocation of the existing bin to a new concrete base, bolted down-£840+vat. Also Supply and erect TC26049 1 playground self-closing gate (5 seconds to close), 1.2m high,1.2m wide, galvanised and powder coated in yellow-£1950+vat. Proposed Cllr Allen, sec Cllr Hodgson, All agreed. .gov.uk website, domain and email addresses etc to be Assertion 10 compliant, Cllr Lowde gave information about Netwise, and some costings (£600 plus £130 per year- a vote was taken) clerk contacted Netwise 6/2/2026, was given information that we need the premium plus plan, and the costs. Information passed to Cllr Shaw, he will advise the clerk. Would take a maximum of 3 weeks from ordering to get set up. Councillors were informed that we owe 2 years payment for our current domain-£240-proposed Cllr Lowde, sec Cllr Hodgson, all agreed Cars/recovery vehicle, no support from ERYC, email sent again to our local police team 6/2/2026 Fishing signs and poles -thanks to Cllr Beadle for collecting, Picnic tables- will be put in the playpark in better weather, thanks to Cllr Annison for storing | ||
