| 4. Continuing Matters: Land near the post box, the solicitor will meet with Cllrs Shaw and Lowde to complete the paperwork Playground inspection paperwork -Cllr Shaw -ongoing Skelpings- Cllr Annison will speak with MC about costings for scraping the surface, no response from TW, Cllr Lowde will explore at Hedon Depot Lighthouses-response from ERYC Conservation Officer-Cllr Lowde will contact RD to ask possible article highlighting the state etc Self-closing gates playpark- will be delivered and placed on 16 March 2026 at 8.30am, Cllr Annison will meet up with Tony Cook Ltd .gov.uk website, domain and email addresses etc all progressing through, Netwise, Councillors discussed the clerk needing a new laptop, a mac neo was agreed at £599 to preorder for 11 March 2026, prop Cllr Woodmansey, sec Cllr Lowde, all agreed (Clerk to transfer the money to enable purchase by credit card, as agreed by Cllrs Shaw and Lowde) Cars/recovery vehicle, response from ERYC Safer Communities, PPC have made all statutory organisations aware, now any untaxed vehicle needs reporting to the DVLA Fishing signs and poles -DH has put some signs up at the carpark which have been stolen, Cllr Shaw and DH- poles sitings agreed Picnic tables-now in situ, thanks to DH and Cllr Allen Request re employment through the council, Cllr Lowde will deal | ||
| 5.Correspondence Tender from DH for cemetery and village grass cutting £3930, prop Cllr Lowde, sec Cllr Beadle, all agreed Humber Hydrogen Pipeline Project, 2 planning permissions requested, concerns were discussed, clerk will submit to ERYC Planning-close to the Paull Holme B&B- appears to be within 50 metres, suggestion that only 1 property affected is not correct as The Lodge is close by (and Demswood?), it’s a site of Historical interest with Paull Holme Tower, The Moat, and badger setts, if 4’’ mains pipe was needed but water not available—how many tankers will bring the water in, what times, and which route??? Possible cameras re fly tipping Stoney Creek- Cllr Hodgson- residents need to contact ERYC Pond- Cllr Hulme- suggested could a pond be made on the wet corner of High Paull Lane now the land has been tidied up? Cllr Shaw suggested a gathering of information- would the access be via the BBC field (landowner permission needed?) costings, Insurance, ditch, gully?? Ref 26/00332/STPLF and 3. 26/00333/STPLF-Hydrogen pipeline consultation for above and underground- see information above b. ABP/HIEP: Lighthouses-as above, was there an ABP meeting last week— Cllr Shaw did not receive an invitation c. AbleUK/Siemens: nothing to report d. Police / Neighbourhood Watch: figures emailed out, e. Lighting: nothing to report, Cllr Hulme felt still dark down Holme and Leonards Close, however we are at ER lampposts, any more sited would be at a continuing cost to PPC f. Allotments: nothing to report, rents to remain the same for this year, as they cover the water bill at present g. School info: no updates h. Sports field: all agreed for Hedon Rangers to train Monday nights i. Community Recreation area: gate and self-closing gates as above j. Road Safety / Highways: As above-reported to ERYC and the local police k. Emergency: nothing to report l. Transport: nothing to report- what time is the last bus? m. Village Hall: nothing booked, car boot sales start April 4th 2026 n. Maintenance of Parish assets- no concerns- Cllr Leach monitors | ||
