Minutes of the ANNUAL PARISH MEETING held Thursday 5 May 2022

1. Apologies : Cllrs Beadle, Hodgson, Allen, Carlill, Leach

• In attendance :  Cllrs Shaw, Lowde, Annison, Woodmansey, Hulme
  Ward Cllr Winter, 1 member of the public & the Clerk.
  
  
• Election of Chairman :  Cllr Shaw agreed to be nominated to stand for another term of office : nominated by Cllr Hulme, seconded Cllr Annison. There being no other nominations, Cllr Shaw was elected unanimously.

• Election of Vice-Chairman : Councillor Lowde agreed to be nominated as the vice chair, nominated by Cllr Woodmansey, seconded Cllr Hulme. Cllr Lowde was elected unanimously.

• Chairman’s report :
  Cllr Shaw gave a short verbal annual report, citing the several planning applications as a massive continuing challenge.
  
  
• Presentation of the Balance Sheet (circulated)
  Cllr Lowde shared and explained the balance sheet, proposed by Cllr Woodmansey, seconded by Cllr Lowde, all agreed. To be posted in the Council Noticeboard and on the website.
  
  
• Annual Reports from Committees

1. Development & Conservation : Concerns that Paull is being swamped by planning applications ABP, Pensana, Fort Paull etc. We continue to work closely with our neighbours, Ward Councillors, and the local authority.

   1. Cemetery –clerk continues to liaise with funeral directors and stonemasons
