Matters Arising therefrom

 

·         Remembrance Day Sunday,14th November 2021, 3pm—refreshments in the Village Hall-thanks sent to Mrs Coggs, Rev Sue, Steve Verity, Tony Newiss, Dave Horsley, Di Davies and all concerned for their valuable input

·         Combine wheel-Cllr Lowde

·         Security at the lighthouses-reported again to ABP

·         The beacon—beyond repair and needs replacing— possible offer of replacement

·         Dead tree by the church-confirmed ERYC responsibility

 

 

4.    Continuing Matters

·   ABP—still no communication whatsoever regarding setting up a working group to Paull Parish Council, Cllr Steel liaising

·  Planning applications Fort Paull – PPC objections lodged, no further update from planning

·  The Crown planning application-no updates from planning, clerk spoke to the case manager as our comments were not in the public domain, he placed on the main portal. He explained that EA have great input, and it’s their decision that no living accommodation can be on the ground floor of the application, even though we have the new, extremely expensive sea defences, and the Crown has never been flooded in living memory.

·  ROSPA report—Cllr Shaw

·  HCC land

·  Newbald Parish Council update email to inform that it will be in the new year before any contact is made

·  Yorkshire Energy Park—any feedback from recent meetings?

·  The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee—put on agenda in January

g.    Environment Agency: ongoing concerns re access to the sanctuary bank, clerk contacted AG from YWT and passed his contact details to Cllr Steel. Cllr Hulme unable to locate any age-old information

f.   Allotments: Cllr Beadle to lock the gate and leave pedestrian access

g. School info: clerk contacted the school business manager regarding the alarm—it is being dealt with

h. Sports field:  a complaint regarding dog training and being asked for a fee-Cllr Lowde responded

i.    Community Recreation Area: ROSPA inspection September as above
