Donation to the school towards their Residential trip-a discussion took place around what was affordable–the cost of the bus £1290 was proposed by Cllr Hodgson seconded by Cllr Woodmansey, all councillors voted in favour apart from Cllr Hulme. The pupils have offered their services to help around the village, it was noted that they had done an amazing beach clean up, with more dates arranged, and they are open to suggestions of fundraisings. There are sponsor forms available for two of our parishioners walking 100 miles in March. Councillors noted thanks to the benefactors of donations,
Toilets-Cllr Hulme has explored the possible use of the Crown toilets with the planning applicants-they would consider but are hindered by the planning restraint on the Crown building at present
Repair of the Lane-Cllr Hulme-queried when it might be repaired-when the weather is dry-and what we will get for the £800 earmarked-rolled in-this would be a halfway house solution, it was stated that we were fortunate to have the ongoing regular support from the CS team, and we had a good store of chippings (thanks have been sent to our contact)  Cllr Hulme stated that part of the lane that had been repaired in 1998 was nearly perfect. Cllr Hulme stated that to do it properly by scraping and re-tarmacing could cost £10,000 and an ongoing cost of £1,000 per year. It was suggested that a quote from Roche might clarify. Cllr Carlill suggested maybe making the lane slightly higher in the middle to allow the water to drain?
Paull Holme Strays-Cllr Hulme-send many thanks to Cllr Steel and the EA for the new path, however it is incredibly muddy where there is no stone which will make access to the new picnic tables difficult-could the stone be extended? Contact to query
