Matters Arising :  
Presentation from the planners of the Crown application—explained in detail the difficulties and restrictions regarding the actual Crown building and asked for any ideas as a way to move it forward  
            
 Continuing Matters :  
Financial Regulations draft document and Standing Orders draft document- agreed to adopt in December meeting- clerk to type up Toilets-Cllr Hulme to explore (basic and ongoing costs etc) 
Sanctuary Bank seating-Cllr Allen will liaise with DH, Cllrs Annison, Leach, Hulme to arrange a working group-Many thanks to the shipyard for their continued support in housing the benches
PPC assets regularly checked, thanks to Cllr Leach

Emergency repair to manhole cover-many thanks to DH and Cllr Leach- Cllr Hulme stated that this drain might not be live
Saltboxes-Cllr Hulme raised that salt had been taken from the saltbox at ‘Uncle Harolds’ for use further down the road. It was noted that the gritter does this particular bend and turns round at Bulk storage, but doesn’t do the icy stretch near the riding school  (Cllr Hulme queried -should that bin be moved and placed near the riding school??). The clerk will liaise with ERYC as to whether there could be either a larger salt bin, or 2 saltbins at the riding school. The parish council have had requests refused that the gritter goes out towards Thorngumbald-even though it is a school bus route.

Nuclear waste storage-absolutely no information from ERYC, even though they have identified SW Holderness as a possible storage site, and there had been a drop in in Patrington 1st February 2024. Cllr Steel gave brief information

Allotments: Clerk confirmed to Cllr Hulme query that Cllr Beadle will collect the rents as usual this year         
g. School info: Forest Trust working in the school, Cllr Steel and SBM liaising with the Head, also students site meeting as above to plant free trees on council land. School are looking at fundraising for a residential, can the parish council donate? A discussion took place, decisions will be made in March meeting         
h. Sports field: grass cutting bill paid- Cllr Lowde writing again to ERYC Cllr Hulme cutting back the undergrowth around the building.        
i. Community Recreation area: new steering wheel ready to go on.      
j. Road Safety / Highways: monitoring strips Back Lane        
k. Emergency: nothing to report      
l. Transport: nothing to report
