Matters Arising Therefrom  
Paull beacon crest, difficult to see the prints on the shield- Cllr Hulme will take the shield to Sign Services and discuss
Broken fence into play area-thanks to Cllr Allen who has spoken to the resident    
            
Continuing Matters :    
siting of the spare rocks to stop vehicle access— agreed costs in Feb Meeting of up to £600 for the hire of the vehicle (on tracks?)-cost would be much higher as the rocks are so heavy, clerk had asked Cllr Carlill to get a price of new, smaller rocks which could have been moved more easily- as an option that councillors could explore.  Cllr Annison may have a contact with machinery that is big enough to move the spare rocks, he will explore and update. (8/3/2023 work has been completed) Many thanks to all concerned for their valuable input.
Cllr Hulme reported the carpark is chewed up by cars do-nutting on an evening-needs reporting to the police as it is happening (as per police guidance)

Yorkshire Energy Park, 16 February 2023, Cllr Shaw gave an update that groundworks and clearance to commence-problems with antisocial behaviour and fly tipping, school project engagement, plans submitted for substation. Community fund of £20,000 per annum (max £5,000)-information shared with the school-launch 10 March-early applications ABP- 18/04071/STPLFE- liaison meeting—no updates
Fort Paull planning application-Cllr Winter advised no further updates.
Sanctuary Bank-Cllr Steel – EA looking to the work themselves subject to fundings-drainage pipes, apply for funding for tables? AG re information boards, stairs?bridge?? Cllr Steel invited PP councillors to join her on a walk round.
Town and Parish liaison meeting Withernsea- Cllr Hulme attended, discussed the lane and carpark with relevant officers, precept needs to be used to bring the lane up to standard (no funding via ERYC) ERYC will not adopt the lane whatever the state. He updated that ERYC had informed that the lane and carpark can be closed, or a charge can be made to use.    
                
Correspondence

Beech trees complaint from resident Ferryman Park, clerk liaised with ERYC, Cllr’s Winter and Hodgson. Updated by ERYC that the trees are on their land, have been assessed and will be trimmed. Clerk emailed resident to inform it had been passed to the relevant authorities for them to progress.
Cumulative effects of many different planning applications in our area-correspondence shared from Cllr Shaw, Graham Stuart MP, and Stephen Hunt ERYC, explaining that planning is a small department and all information is regularly shared by the team.
Community Emergency Plan-Cllr Shaw will update
Hedgerows demolished Pensana Paull Road, communication shared from Pensana and ERYC.
King’s coronation-advice from Buckingham Palace- say no to the beacon lighting, but want them lighting 6th June 2024 for the 80th anniversary of the D Day landings.
Resident request for Coronation flag for his own use (Cllr Allen) PPC have no objections.
King Charles 111 Coronation risk assessment from BHIB insurers shared. Could we look at plantings at each end of the village/ use the crest stickers/put up bunting/banners?bring ideas to April meeting.
Concerns about sitings of telecommunications equipment document from ERYC shared.
Humber estuary query from ERYC re scaffolding bags above the water line-clerk dealt.
Holderness Health Town and Parish Forum via Teams-Monday, 27th March 2023 at 4.30pm (also 4.30pm 19th June, 25th September, 11th December)-Cllr Shaw hoping to attend March.

g. School info: Forest Trust working in the school- grant applied for through the King’s coronation fund for a greenhouse, if granted can PPC pay the top up?
h. Sports field: broken gate post-can Cllr Lowde get a price to supply and fit?  Our grateful thanks and sympathy go to the family of Gerald Rookyard, who did so much for the sports field.        
i. Community Recreation area: viewing area platform fencing sorted as per ROSPA guidance-as above.       
j. Road Safety / Highways: the poor state of the road to Thorngumbald ongoing.        
k. Emergency: 2 new packs of defib pads are available from the clerk.   l. Transport: Can we explore the possibility of a later bus-maybe on a trial basis-arriving 10pm ish in Paull from Hull-clerk will liaise with KF. m. Village Hall: Our grateful thanks and sympathy go to the family of Mrs Brenda Foreman, who did so much for the church and the village hall.

Is there a planning application for an incinerator Staithes Road?  
Trees in the wood covered in ivy-needs cutting back-could this be something for the community hours team??—Cllr Shaw suggested carefully chainsawing? Cllr Hulme will speak with SR in the next couple of weeks for advice on how best to deal with the removal-affecting some 50 small and 20 large trees—a team of councillors and secateurs???
