Any Questions:
Cllr Hulme- give way sign at the T junction demolished-clerk reported to ERYC 3/9/21. Clerk again reminded councillors that the number to report is 01482 393939.

Clerk also reported the uneven surface in the new road chippings in Main Street near the shipyard carpark.

Clerk has reported to ERYC (SC) another broken glass pane on the sea wall near to the lighthouse, he is aware as all ER assets are inspected regularly—concerns that this is malicious, did no-one witness or hear? possible covert cctv in the future—cost is around £4,000 to replace and install each pane.

The meeting was informed of some unsafe work to prune some trees on private land which was commissioned by a resident, the workers also verbally abused the adjoining neighbour and a ward councillor—- be mindful that the company regularly do a leaflet drop. Advice was to use a reputable, recommended company. Any information to KF to go in the village newsletter.

Informed that our 3 ward councillors Cllrs Steel, Winter and Dennis all now sit on the Eastern Planning Committee and therefore cannot speak re planning in the eastern region. Councillors expressed concerns that this could leave this area at a disadvantage at planning meetings.

There being no other business, the meeting closed at 8.30pm

Next Meeting: subject to government guidelines— Thursday, 7 October 2021, 7pm, UPSTAIRS in the Village Hall, Disabled access available
