- Matters arising therefrom :
- Chairman’s report :
Cllr Shaw read out his annual report, citing the ABP planning application as a massive continuing challenge. He gave thanks to everyone who had given their time and support freely in the very difficult lockdowns. The report will be posted in the Council Noticeboard and on the website. - Presentation of the Balance Sheet (circulated)
Cllr Lowde shared and explained the balance sheet, proposed by Cllr Shaw, seconded by Cllr Allen, to be posted in the Council Noticeboard and on the website. - Annual Reports from Committees
- Development & Conservation : Yorkshire Energy Park has passed by the ERYC planners, it was stated that their liaison with local parish and town councils had been excellent—they had listened and acted on concerns raised, it had been a really positive experience. However, the same could not be said of the communication from ABP, which was described as appalling. They now have Freeport status in the Humber corridor. There has been no further communication from them since the zoom consultation meeting prior to the application going back into the planners, even though a direction was given from ERYC that there needs to be consultation meetings with members of the local councils. PPC continues to liaise with PADEL, and our neighbouring parish and town councils.
