Matters Arising Therefrom  
Thanks received from Allendale for the flowers sent
Clerk to contact NPS asap-and send photos regarding another manhole that has appeared (was it hidden previously by branches dragged over?) clerk asked that councillors be vigilant and report things that need attention as soon as possible    
            
Continuing Matters :    
ABP- still no communication to PPC, details of the permission granted 18/04071/STPLFE –ABP must set up a liaison party to include parish/ward councillors within 3 months, and hold a meeting within 4 months of the date of the grant notice—Cllr Steel will make enquiries–
The Crown planning application-ongoing—hopefully a way forward with the applicant and the planning office can be found, which can then be again supported. Concerns raised that the EA appear to have so much power, and be able to over-ride any other decisions
Fort Paull planning application-ERYC have now received the relevant information from the applicant-has been previously requested to go to Eastern planning—monitor closely
HCC land -emails shared
Yorkshire Energy Park- ongoing consultations, councillors praised their excellent communications and how they take on board comments- the EA are also very involved in this project
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee-plans agreed for the new beacon, several councillors offered to deliver and erect on site in the community area. What crest can be used? Do we put up do not climb signs, use anti vandal paint?
Pensana- No official information regarding this planning application—how much is the 106 worth for this application? If it is successful, where will the 106 money go??
KF will provide to the clerk, in writing, wording for the plaques for DF and BM, they will be fitted to the bench on the village hall balcony
Dog fouling signs -Cllr Annison has put them in place

East Riding Governance-discussion around any thoughts on changes–abolishing? merging of councils? Clerk to check electoral register for boundaries
The Circuit-thanks to Cllr Lowde, he checks the defibrillator regularly—new pads needed for June/July
East Riding Housing needs survey—discussed and all councillors were asked to respond—as we need more housing (and affordable) to bring more children into the school
Community Payback-Police and Crime Commissioner— The councillors felt that there was nothing to offer at present—
Manhole covers replaced by Roche through NPS—thanks sent to all concerned, and to Cllr Woodmansey for meeting with them
Village Task Force walkabout-29th April, 09.45am, outside the Village Hall—Cllr Woodmansey—anyone else available please join in
ERYC corporate Leisure -email of discounts shared
Garage land behind the school-emails shared-Cllr Leach stated that he has been given 14 days’ notice to vacate, and he has been unable to make contact with ERYC—details passed of contact -advised he emails
Fly tipping at the Nature Reserve-sorted by YWT?
Steps to the bank at the Nature reserve-Cllr Steel has had a positive response from EA, who have stated that they would like to strike a balance between nature and visitors
Garden plot on offer from JS-Cllrs Leach and Carlill will discuss with Cllr Beadle

H2H Saltend -consultation meeting 4 April 2022-some councillors attended and fed back re carbon and hydrogen
– the pamphlet from National Grid that we have received with information of the proposed pipeline routes of the carbon capture was shared-it appears that there will be another under the River Humber pipeline to Paull?

g. School info: There has been a good response to the advertisement, with new families coming to look round
h. Sports field: rent due to HCC, all agreed that JB can use the field for training for a donation (£25 per annum) all agreed that Cllr Hulme can move the bollard on the lane. Cllr Lowde mentioned some trees on the lane might need attention        
i. Community Recreation area:  quotes needed for swings etc for the younger children, then we need to look for funding       
j. Road Safety / Highways: Concerns were raised that there have been 3 cars in the dyke at the T junction—could there be give way signs earlier on Paull Road from Saltend, and some markers on the dyke side?? All incidents need reporting to ERYC Highways, which then identifies there is a problem– Clerk to contact Highways. Clerk to contact Integra regarding queuing articulated lorries on the road outside which makes the road very difficult to use, and dangerous as it is on a slight bend. Also the grass verges are milled up.
