Proposed: Cllr Leach; Seconded: Cllr Woodmansey; Vote: agreed

Matters Arising:
Presentation from A Booker, CEO Holderness Health, who explained that the new system is working really well, anyone who isn’t able to complete the required clinical assessment form can have help from staff-this enables triage and appointments to be prioritised, and the patient guided to the correct clinician. Patients can then choose the GP and surgery of choice. She asked Cllr Shaw to send her details of the appointment offered for a 92 years old local resident, who was given no choice of surgeries, but offered Withernsea.  A new collection point for collecting medications is being looked at, you have to live more than a mile away to collect medication from the surgery and not the chemist. There was a query regarding the text messages with results of blood tests-would it be possible to include more detail, instead of ‘satisfactory’ -AB explained that she will flag it up, however it is the GP who has passed this information to admin, more detailed information is available in your NHS app- (which many cannot access)

4. Continuing Matters:
Land near the post box-information with Sandersons Solicitors, Land Registry bill paid to F Hill & Son
RE yard – tree planting-detailed information needs to go to Historic England -Cllr Hulme will speak to the free trees contact, could Historic England give advice on what might be acceptable? Add to September agenda-Cllr Hulme
Bus forum-clerk attended- excellent information sharing, any ideas and or suggestions re the bus networks can be put forward, a representative from the Mayor’s office attended and shared funding information
Humber Carbon Capture direct drilling-some councillors attended the drop-in Paull Village Hall 25 June-Cllr Shaw explained that the site they are looking at near Paull Holme was a chapel, an ancient monument, it had been 2 towers with a moat, a world war 2 decoy site, where it is thought that skeletons had been dug up in the past. He said that it is a test drill to see if it is viable near Paull Holme Tower-they will drill down at an angle through a 2 feet hole into the River Humber, Councillors have been assured that there is no noise, it does need a water supply. If it works, then they will use a 3 feet hole and drill 4k into the river-how will the mud be moved safely- will the wagons stick to the dedicated routes-concerns that the route is a small country lane which is school bus route, and is not gritted in winter-Hooks Lane to Camerton is also a possibility. The route of the pipe was queried as it twists and turns-several councillors had identified possible alternatives at the presentation. Cllr Woodmansey had asked the team if this carbon capture is a way of sweeping it under the carpet for now?
Cllr Annison expressed concern that the initial test drilling is 24 hours a day, And is 50 to 80 metres away from the Bed and Breakfast, there has been no discussions with the owners, he was first made aware at the presentation.
It was explained that this might not need to go to ERYC Planning as it        is government driven.
What will PPC response be to this, clerk to send email to thank for the presentation, and ask that we are kept updated and informed. (email        sent 4/7/2025)
