Matters Arising:
Presentation by Billy Taylor and his colleague Alex, from Grupotec-Harbour Farm Solar Farm,
they explained the proposals of the solar farm, plans to be submitted to ERYC in July 2025, timescale if granted-12 months for getting the panels in. Initially 20 vehicles per day, 7-10 as the build slows down, 1 LGV per month when operational. Access and traffic plans under discussion. After 35 years lifetime of the project, the land will be reinstated back as it was. Will all be screened, happy for input from councillors as to hedge and tree species-biodiversity and net gain- (Cllr Hulme) Community fund accessible-unsure at present how it will be managed (Thorngumbald and Paull) for the duration of the solar farm, happy to look at upfront funding for larger projects. 2028 connection date (underground) into Saltend-will update PPC whereabouts on the site. They explained that all parties involved in projects in the area must collaborate and share information. The project website is being updated very soon, they will inform us when they submit the application., they held the presentation afternoon in the Haven Arms today, they are happy to come back to talk to the parish council in the future.
